On September 2, 2024, the British Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government announced in a statement that the obligation to switch to the UKCA label for construction products will be suspended indefinitely. Companies from the EU can therefore continue to market their CE-marked construction products in the UK as before. The previously stated deadline of 30 June 2025 for the recognition of CE marking in the UK has now been lifted.
