We, together with the Industrieverband Rollladen Sonnenschutz Automation and the Verband Fenster + Fassade, together with the companies Somfy, Veka, Velux, Warema, roma KG and Hunter Douglas Europe B.V., represent the Repräsentanz Transparente Gebäudehülle (RTG). Our political mouthpiece in Berlin for our members and supporting members.

Together, we want to create optimal political framework conditions for sustainable buildings. For us, this means buildings in which we can live in a climate-friendly, healthy and affordable way. The Representative Body for Transparent Building Envelopes (RTG) provides well-founded contributions and new solution perspectives in the necessary political, public and professional debates. It also campaigns for laws and subsidies for energy-efficient building refurbishment in Germany.
Windows, façades, glazing, solar shading and digital control: together, these elements of the building envelope provide the answers to numerous questions about the future of our buildings. These goals support the glass industry as they promote the use of glass as a building material and increase the demand for innovative glass solutions.

Political representation of interests
The Transparent Building Envelope Representative Body is a driving force and dialogue partner for all political players and stakeholders who shape the framework conditions for building and energy policy. The Representative Body represents us and our member companies in energy and construction policy issues vis-à-vis politicians.
