Technoform – Specialist for Standard and Custom Plastic Solutions

Technoform, based in Lohfelden, is a specialist in standard and custom plastic solutions and a supporting member of the Bundesverband Flachglas (German Flat Glass Association).

The AFAS Experience Center stands out with its unique construction, which greatly benefits from Technoform’s warm-edge spacers. Thanks to the 16 mm thick warm-edge spacers, the structure is optimally supported.

Technoform’s innovative warm-edge spacers, made from specially developed polypropylene, minimize thermal conductivity and meet the highest standards for thermal performance, durability, and processability. The ultra-thin stainless steel foil of the Technoform spacers also makes them impermeable to water vapor and gas, enhancing the overall efficiency and longevity of the construction.

Pilkington Nederland supplied most of the glass for this exceptional project. In total, more than 5,000 m² of various functional glass types were used, providing solar control, fire resistance, and thermal insulation.
