This new lesson not only explains the key updates of the EU Construction Products Regulation compared to the previous version but also provides essential background on standardisation and building law. Upon completion of each lesson, participants receive a personalised certificate and a comprehensive downloadable script.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"604\" data-end=\"728\">Lesson 6 is divided into five chapters and offers an in-depth introduction to the new EU Construction Products Regulation.<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"2083\">\n<li data-start=\"729\" data-end=\"1062\">\n<p data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"1062\"><strong data-start=\"731\" data-end=\"744\">Chapter 1<\/strong> covers the fundamentals of national, European and international standards. It explains the harmonisation of product standards, the current status of construction sector standardisation with a focus on glass, introduces the key institutions, and highlights the reasons for delays in European standardisation reforms.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1443\">\n<p data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1443\"><strong data-start=\"1065\" data-end=\"1078\">Chapter 2<\/strong> focuses on the development of the Construction Products Regulation, why a revision was necessary, its objectives, and the transition from the old to the new regulation \u2013 including the so-called fast-track procedure. New elements such as extended environmental requirements for buildings and the planned system for digital product passports are clearly explained.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1444\" data-end=\"1700\">\n<p data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1700\"><strong data-start=\"1446\" data-end=\"1459\">Chapter 3<\/strong> addresses the Declaration of Performance for construction products, including how performance is determined, assessed with different systems, and documented through CE marking. It also covers conformity assessment and market surveillance.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1701\" data-end=\"1927\">\n<p data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1927\"><strong data-start=\"1703\" data-end=\"1716\">Chapter 4<\/strong> examines national building law requirements in Germany, focusing on proofs for non-regulated products and systems, as well as the distinction between \u201cnormatively valid\u201d and \u201cofficially introduced\u201d standards.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1928\" data-end=\"2083\">\n<p data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"2083\"><strong data-start=\"1930\" data-end=\"1943\">Chapter 5<\/strong> provides additional practical guidance, showing where standards can be accessed and clarifying the correct meaning of \u201cstate of the art\u201d.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"2085\" data-end=\"2330\">The training video has a duration of <strong data-start=\"2122\" data-end=\"2136\">1:51 hours<\/strong>, and the accompanying script comprises <strong data-start=\"2176\" data-end=\"2188\">27 pages<\/strong>. Includes glass types, network theory, and soda-lime-silicate glass.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2831\" data-end=\"2981\">\n<p data-start=\"2833\" data-end=\"2981\"><strong data-start=\"2833\" data-end=\"2864\">Lesson 2 \u2013 Glass Production<\/strong>: Fundamentals of glass manufacturing, forming processes (casting, float glass process), raw materials and melting.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2982\" data-end=\"3182\">\n<p data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3182\"><strong data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3027\">Lesson 3 \u2013 Glass as a Building Material<\/strong>: Overview of the general, chemical, mechanical, thermal and optical properties of soda-lime-silicate glass, as well as base glasses according to EN 572.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3183\" data-end=\"3370\">\n<p data-start=\"3185\" data-end=\"3370\"><strong data-start=\"3185\" data-end=\"3214\">Lesson 4 \u2013 Glass Products<\/strong>: From float glass to tempered safety glass (ESG), heat-soaked ESG, partially tempered glass (TVG), laminated glass (LG) and laminated safety glass (LSG).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3371\" data-end=\"3520\">\n<p data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3520\"><strong data-start=\"3373\" data-end=\"3404\">Lesson 5 \u2013 History of Glass<\/strong>: From antiquity to the present day, with key technological milestones and its impact on art, science and society.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3521\" data-end=\"3738\">\n<p data-start=\"3523\" data-end=\"3738\"><strong data-start=\"3523\" data-end=\"3578\">Lesson 6 \u2013 New: EU Construction Products Regulation<\/strong>: Key concepts, definitions and institutions; what the EU CPR is about; CE marking and Declaration of Performance; national requirements and additional notes.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"3740\" data-end=\"3947\">In total, the GLAS series will consist of <strong data-start=\"3782\" data-end=\"3796\">26 modules<\/strong>.
